There are usually two agents in a real estate transaction. The first agent represents the buyer and he/she is called the buyer’s agent.
The second agent is the one representing the seller and he/she is called the seller’s agent.
All these agents work together to make sure that buyers and sellers legally accomplish their goals.
As a person representing the buyer, you make sure that your client (buyer) gets the best deal.
You can also give them advice on proper steps to take based on their choices and market conditions. You are the one who answers the buyer’s questions and keeps them updated.
Role of buyer’s agent
The buyer’s agent helps the buyer throughout the buying process. The agent might advise the buyer on mortgages. In addition, the buyer’s agent takes his/her client on property showings.
After buyers have decided the house, the agent will help buyers on offers and negotiations. The final step is working with buyers on necessary paperwork and finalizing the deal.
